US Navy Sailor Killed in Michigan

It sickens me to see thugs out on parole.

Two men have been arrested in the slaying of [a] 22-year-old Bernard Cranford, whose cash and sunglasses were the motive in his shooting, police said.

[...]

Witnesses told Wayne County Sheriff's deputies that [Thug #1] pulled out a gun and told Cranford to empty his pockets and hand over what [Thug #1] thought were designer sunglasses.

Police said [Thug #1] fired several shots, two of which struck Cranford, killing him. Cranford was on leave from the U.S. Navy at the time.

Thug #1, parole for a 2001 armed robbery conviction, was questioned and arrested after Wayne County Deputies received a tip he was one of the gunmen.
Thugs #1 and #2 were charged with first-degree murder, two counts of assault with intent to rob while armed, using a firearm to commit a felony, being felons in possession of a firearm and being habitual offenders.
