A 26-year-old man accused of carrying an assault rifle in a Michigan park remained in custody Friday on a $1 million cash bond.Shame on him. Doesn't he know terrorism is illegal in this country.
Houssein Zorkot, of Dearborn, Mich., was arrested on Sept. 8 after witnesses called police to complain about a man with an AK-47, dark clothes and blackened face walking around a park.
"We don't know exactly what his intent was or what he was intending on doing," Dearborn Police Chief Michael Celeski told FOXNews.com.
Police responded to the scene and approached the vehicle Zorkot was driving. Zorkot attempted to flee and was not cooperative with police, Celeski said.
I thought nothing could get worse than the so-called childrens' programming I see when I flip past the Cartoon Network. I was wrong.

The latest character on the children’s show Tomorrow’s Pioneers on Hamas’s Al-Aqsa television station is Nahool the Bee, who encourages young children to follow “[the path] of Jihad” and to become “Jihad warriors” in order to “liberate Al-Aqsa from the filth of the criminal Jews.”
In the latest episode, Nahool the Bee repeatedly reminds the children that the Jews are guilty of murder – particularly of murdering children and the elderly.

Nahool: “You and we will liberate the sad Al-Aqsa that is waiting for us. Yes, we will liberate Al-Aqsa from the filth of the criminal Jews, who killed my grandfather, and killed Farfur, and history will bear witness to that…”
A young caller, Sabah, is asked what she wants to be when she grows up.
Sabah: “Journalist.”
Saraa', girl in studio: “Wow, journalist! Nahool, we need journalists.”
Nahool: "Why? So that… so that they will photograph the Jews when they are killing Farfur and the little children?
Saraa’: “Yes, Nahool.”
Another young caller says: “We will go on [the path] of Jihad when we grow up.”
Nahool: “Yes, we are all Jihad warriors.

Nahool the Bee is only the latest cartoon character like manifestation to appear on Hamas TV. Prior to Nahool’s appearance, Arab children received anti-Israel indoctrination from Farfur, a character very much resembling Disney’s Mickey Mouse. The New York Daily News dubbed the character “Terror Mouse,” while Walt Disney’s daughter Diane described it as “pure evil.”
In Farfur’s final appearance on Tomorrow’s Pioneers, he was beaten to death at the hands of an Israeli interrogator, thus becoming a Shahid - a martyr for Allah - and a role model to countless Arab children.
Hamas TV has a new children's show which features a Mickey Mouse lookalike. But this Mickey does not romp about with Pluto, nor does he woo Minnie Mouse. The squeaky-voiced Mickey Mouse lookalike, named Farfur, is the star of a weekly children’s program called Tomorrow’s Pioneers on the official Hamas TV station (Al-Aqsa TV), which broadcasts from Gaza via satellite to the entire Arab world. Farfur and his co-host, a young girl named Saraa’, teach children about such things as the importance of the daily prayers and drinking milk, but also instruct them to hate Israel and the US and support "resistance" – a euphemism for terror.
Farfur tells children that they must pray in the mosque five times a day until there is “world leadership under Islamic leadership.” The earnest and soft-spoken Saraa’ explains that the nucleus of the Islamic leadership of the world will be from “all of Palestine,” including Israel. Farfur refers to Israel as “the oppressive invading Zionist occupation,” which the children must "resist."
Saraa’ announces that after death, the children will have to answer to Allah for what they did or did not do for the Al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem and for Palestinian prisoners: “I remind you that Al-Aqsa and the prisoners are a responsibility on our shoulders, and Allah will ask us on Resurrection Day what we gave for their sake," she tells the tots viewing the show.

The program encourages participation by child viewers, who phone in to the show and recite poems with images of hate and violence; for example, “We will destroy the chair of the despots, so they will taste the flame of death,”
and, in another poem, "Rafah sings ‘Oh, oh.’ Its answer is an AK-47. We who do not know fear, we are the predators of the forest."
I've been to four or five weddings at this church. What happened here really caught my eye.
If you are an anti-gunner, please tell me what you would do in this situation, before the police nabbed the bad guy. Please tell me how a firearm wouldn't be a part of your self-defense.
This happened in Troy, a suburb of north of Detroit. These threats occurred during the same time period as when another disgruntled employee shot up an accounting office just a few miles away.
A displaced music director at the Evanswood Church of God faces four terrorism-related charges over e-mail threats to conduct a "Columbine or Virginia Tech type killing" aimed at 13 church members, police said.
Roy Owen Yaryan, 56, of Rochester Hills, was arraigned Tuesday and is held in lieu of $750,000 cash bond pending his preliminary exam in Troy's 52-4 District Court.
Troy Police Lt. Gerry Scherlinck said Yaryan sent out e-mails under the name of Evanswood Church of God Pastor A.C. Phipps while describing himself as having a Doctor Jekyll and Mr. Hyde personality.
"The e-mail indicated the recipients were about to see his Mr. Hyde side, as he was planning a Columbine or Virginia Tech-type killing at services the follow Sunday (April 29)," Scherlinck said.
Church officials at the 150 member congregation at 2601 Square Lake Road cancelled the services, but have reopened since Yaryan's arrest, an unidentified woman at the church said.
A worker at the church said Phipps was out-of-state and on vacation.
However, the church did issue a statement reading: "Thank you for your concern for our congregation at Evanswood Church of God. We understand from Troy Police that an arrest has been made and their investigation continues. We view this as a time of healing for our congregation and the families involved."
A church Web site said Phipps joined the church in June2004 and has served 35 years as pastor at churches in Texas, Michigan and Pennsylvania.
Scherlinck said Yaryan had some "internal grudge" with the Evanswood Church of God pastor and the church's leadership team.
"My understanding is that he was the music director and they replaced him," Scherlinck said. "But there were other things he also didn't agree with."
Yaryan, Scherlinck said, took elaborate steps to disguise his computer trail from the victims.
"We have a forensic computer investigator who found software and encryptions," Scherlinck said. "(Yaryan) sent e-mails out of the country and back to victims to protect his identity."
Troy police executed a search warrant at Yaryan's residence on April 27 and confiscated two computers while no one was home, Scherlinck said.
Then on April 28, several members of the congregation received another threatening e-mail allegedly from Yaryan purporting to be the pastor. It contained the names of 13 church members indicating he intended to kill them, Scherlinck said.
The e-mail message indicated the sender knew the church had closed, but it was his intent to "engage in a mass killing whenever the church doors were re-opened," Scherlinck said.
Soon afterwards, police executed a second search warrant at Yaryan's house and found him inside with another computer that he tried to hide,
Scherlinck said. Police arrested Yaryan and confiscated the computer. Yaryan called the threats a "prank," Scherlinck said.
Oakland County Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Paul Walton described the accusations against Yaryan as "very, very serious."
"I know his assertions will be he never intended (to carry out) this," Walton said. "But that is irrelevant. The crime occurred when the threat was made. The defendant has effectively terrorized a small church. He did this on April 25 and April 28 and both times he reported he would kill specific people."
Walton said Yaryan is married. Yaryan doesn't appear to have a previous criminal record, Walton added.
Yaryan is charged with two counts of false report or threat of terrorism and two counts of using a computer to commit a false report or threat of terrorism. All are felonies, punishable by up to 20 years in prison.
The alleged threats follow three workplace shootings on April 9 at Gordon Advisors, 1301 Long Lake Road, Troy.
I've heard an inaccurate statement presented as fact from several different members of the media. With all due respect to those involved (except Cho), the Virginia Tech shooting was not the largest mass murder in American history. It is not the largest school murder in American history, either.
Those horrifying distinctions belong to a tragedy in 1927 in rural Michigan. The Bath Consolidated School was attacked by a member of the school board. Andrew Kehoe blamed a property tax increase for school building improvements on his farm's foreclosure. He decided to kill kids as retribution, planning his attack over several months and using his elected position to get into the school to carefully plant dynamite charges and other explosive devices around the building for maximum carnage.
Long story short, two teachers, the school superintendent, a farmer, the Postmaster, the perp's wife and the perp died from the violence.
So did 37 kids in the third through sixth grades.

This guy should leave Israel and come over to the States... he'd make a great Democratic Congressperson.
In a letter to Prime Minister Olmert, MK Abbas Zakour says releasing all 150 Israeli-Arab terrorists from prison would "open a new page in Israeli-Arab relations."Of course, Olmert might be foolish enough to do this.
The list of incarcerated terrorists whose freedom Hamas demands in return for the release of captive IDF soldier Gilad Shalit is under the consideration of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert. Olmert has expressed his "disappointment" with the inclusion on the list of several arch-terrorists responsible for many Israeli deaths.
Also on the list are some Israeli-Arab terrorist prisoners - and Arab MK Abbas Zakour says there should be more.
"There are today nearly 150 Arab security prisoners [terrorists - ed.], men and women, residents of the State of Israel, who are imprisoned in Israeli jails, in most difficult conditions," Zakour wrote to Olmert.

Some reports say the suicide terrorist simply "changed his mind."
The terrorist carries a blue Israeli ID card as a result of his marriage to an Arab-Israeli.
The would-be suicide terrorist was able to drive the car into Tel Aviv with the help of his Israeli ID card, which he received as a result of his marriage (or his father's, according to some versions) to an Arab-Israeli from Taibeh. The ID made it easy for him to drive past IDF roadblocks from Kalkilye – which is under Hamas/Palestinian Authority control – into the nearby Tel Aviv area. His vehicle also carried Israel license plates.
So much for Universities as places of safe dialogue. Here in Detroit, Wayne State University had a wonderful little anti-Israel/pro-terrorist demonstration with people holding up intellectually stimulating signs like this:
Terrorists are again threatening our children and their schools. Don't they know that schools are supposed to be gun-free zones? Maybe, like all thugs, they don't care.
Authorities fear the school massacre that shook Russia a few years ago may be a dress rehearsal for what al-Qaida plans to do in America – only on a grander scale, launching multiple school attacks simultaneously across the country.
In 2004, Chechen terrorists associated with al-Qaida seized a school building in Beslan, Russia, and slaughtered 338, including 172 children.
Three years later, schools and local police in this country are still unprepared to deal with such an assault, experts warn. Most don't have response plans for handling a single active shooter, let alone a cell of trained terrorists launching a large-scale attack.

The 9/11 mastermind now in custody at Gitmo recently suggested al-Qaida may be targeting school children. Khalid Sheikh Mohammed said in his confession before a military tribunal that while he may not like killing kids, they're fair game in jihad. He claims U.S. forces bombed and killed the children of bin Laden's top deputy, Ayman Al-Zawahiri, and arrested and "abused" his own children.

Experts also worry about terrorists operating independently of al-Qaida. "There are many lone wolves and self-starters out there who could attack at any time," Grossman warned.
Muslim gunman Sulejman Talovic was loaded for bear in February when he opened fire on shoppers in a Salt Lake City mall. He was armed with a shotgun, a .38 pistol and a backpack full of ammunition. He killed five and would have kept killing if an alert off-duty police officer hadn't returned fire and helped stop him.
If the 18-year-old Bosnian immigrant had targeted his old high school in a similar rampage, the number of body bags would have been horrific, experts say. Such a scenario is local law enforcement's worst nightmare, because school resource officers, or SROs, are ill-equipped to handle such assaults.
Homeland security consultants recommend arming all SROs and training them in SWAT tactics to repel such attackers.
"The time may come when that one cop will have to keep several adults at bay, preventing them from prosecuting their assault plan on our kids until support arrives," said John Giduck, president of Archangel Group, an antiterror training service.
Someone had some harsh words for the current wussy leadership in the West.
When will you Westerners realize that half-measures don't work with people who are willing to die by the thousands for Allah to achieve their goal?" This was the upshot of a recent conversation between a Holocaust survivor living in Herzliya and a Christian-Arab living in the Galilee.
"I have to tell you something which very few of you seem to comprehend. Your [Israel's] bungling war against a few thousand Hizbullah fighters which you should have crushed no matter what, considering the importance of the outcome, has created a completely new situation, not only for this area, but globally. Your inept leadership totally misunderstood the importance of winning this war.
"As a matter of fact, the whole Moslem world, not only the Arabs, simply couldn't believe that the mighty Israeli Army that defeated the combined Arab forces in six days in 1967, and almost captured Cairo and Damascus in 1973, couldn't defeat a small army of Hizbullah men. As usual the Moslems see things the way they want to see things. Most think that the present generation of Israelis have gone soft and can be defeated.

The French urged Israel to invade Syria during their war against Hizbullah last summer.
Army Radio reported Sunday that French President Jacques Chirac contacted Prime Minister Ehud Olmert via a secret channel at the very beginning of the war in Lebanon. He informed him that France would support an Israeli invasion of Syria.
Chirac asked that Israel act to topple the Assad regime, and promised in return to block any moves against Israel within the United Nations or European Union.
Just last week Chirac threw his full support behind a conciliatory visit to Syria by EU Foreign Minister Javier Solana. "I back it without reservation,” Chirac said. “Europe speaks with one voice."
This man is David Hatuel. He is an Israeli. And he is a modern hero in by book.

David Hatuel, whose wife and four daughters were murdered in a 2004 terrorist attack, welcomed a daughter to the world on Thursday. The baby girl and her mother Limor are in good health.
Hatuel’s first wife Tali and their four daughters were murdered while driving near their home in Gush Katif in an attack that shook the nation. The girls ranged in age from two to eleven years old.
Tali Hatuel was eight months pregnant with the Hatuel’s first son at the time of the attack. She and her daughters were shot at point-blank range by Islamic Jihad terrorists, who launched their attack from abandoned buildings near the Kissufim Road, which the Israeli Supreme Court had forbidden the army to remove.
After mourning his family, David Hatuel explained that he had two options: to fall and let the tragedy destroy him, or to choose life. He was subsequently evicted from his home, still filled with memories of his family, as part of the Disengagement.
We all know about the infamous Turner Broadcasting pranks that basically shut down the city of Boston last week. Turner Broadcasting Systems and Interference Inc. have agreed to pay $2 million for the bomb scare Cartoon Network advertising campaign.
Remember the two Fox journalists that were kidnapped and recently released? They were released for an expensive price.
ilad Shalit, the IDF soldier kidnapped on the eve of the IDF re-entry into Gaza, was the price for the release of two Fox News reporters, Time Magazine reported Monday.
According to the report, the journalists were kidnapped as part of internal struggles between various terrorist factions in the Palestinian Authority.
The never-before heard of Holy Jihad Brigades is apparently a militia headed by Zakaria Dughmush, a terror chief reportedly involved in attacks on Americans and sub-contracted by Hamas to kidnap Gilad Shalit. When Hamas took the reigns of deciding Shalit’s fate, Dughmush’s militia decided to gain leverage by kidnapping the journalists. They were released when Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh promised to allow the group to participate in deciding Shalit’s fate.
he fact that a second party will be issuing demands complicates the negotiations for Shalit’s release and is likely to further up the already steep-price the Olmert government is reportedly planning to pay to win.
An alternative explanation, offered by Debka File, a repository of unconfirmed intelligence reports, posits that the Holy Jihad Brigades were assigned the task of reshuffling the cards once negotiations for the release of hundreds of PA Arabs from Israeli prisons had extracted the largest amount of concessions from the Israeli government.
The kidnapping of the journalists, Debka argues, in fact provided Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh with good public relations, as the kidnapped journalists met with him and praised his actions on their behalf. This also acts to complicate Shilat's release as his kidnappers are now seen as liberators.
The massacre was fake. Imagine that. The mainstream newssources lied. Hesbollah lied. And I don't understand why people don't care.
The central piece of evidence leading to this conclusion is the fact, mentioned by IDF officials from the very beginning, that the building collapsed a full seven hours after the Israel Air Force bombing. Why, then, would the residents inside not have been evacuated in the meantime? As Brig.-Gen. Amir Eshel of the Israeli Air Force told reporters Sunday night, “It is difficult for me to believe that they waited eight hours to evacuate it.” Without additional evidence, Eshel merely left open the possibility that Hizbullah terrorists, or explosives they left behind, caused the explosion.
"Indeed," writes Robert Spencer for FrontPageMagazine, "it strains credulity that not only did these Lebanese civilians remain in a house that had been bombed for eight hours, but peacefully went to sleep in it after the bombing – since the victims were all apparently sleeping, despite continuing Israeli air bombardment in the area, when the building collapsed."
Gen. Eshel also said that the building was used by Hizbullah to store explosives. This was supported by a letter by Dr. Mounir Herzallah, a southern Lebanese Shiite, who wrote that Hizbullah terrorists came to his town, dug a munitions depot and then built a school and a residence directly over it.
An Arab member (MK) of Israel's parliment (the Knesset), acted like a Democrat recently.
Knesset Member Wasal Taha, corresponding publicly with internet surfers on the Arabic-language IslamOnline site, said he repeatedly advised PA terrorists to battle and kidnap Israeli soldiers.
Yeah, you read it correctly. Saudi Arabians are receiving U.S. aviation scholarships, even though 19 of the 20 hijackers on 9/11 were Saudis.

Today, over thirty rockets bombarded Israeli communities in the western Negev, wounding four Israeli civilians and causing damage to civilian infrastructure.
Seven Qassams hit the Israeli city of Sderot, in the western Negev. Several rockets landed near schools in the city, causing damage to the structures. In one of these attacks an Israeli man was severely wounded.
In separate attacks, another Israeli man was wounded by shrapnel and two women were lightly injured after a rocket landed a few meters from them. A home in Kibutz Nahal Oz suffered a direct hit by a Qassam; luckily the house was empty at the time of the attack.
In response the IDF carried out two aerial attacks, thwarting attempts to launch rockets at Israel. The first attack was carried out in the morning in the area of Beit Lahia. The IDF targeted a Hamas terror cell, which was minutes from launching rockets at Israel. Another aerial attack was carried out around noon against a vehicle carrying terrorists and rockets in Gaza City. They were en rout to launch the rockets.
The IDF would like to clarify that following the incident in the Gaza northern shore on Friday the IDF has suspended the use of artillery fire. Since the stop of artillery fire Friday afternoon over 70 rockets were launched at Israel.
The Palestinian Authority is fully responsible for any attacks emanating from the Gaza Strip. Unfortunately, it continues to take no action in order to prevent the daily attacks against Israeli civilians.
The IDF will continue to act with determination and to employ all means at its disposal to combat terrorists and their infrastructure, in order to defend the citizens of Israel.

U.S. warplanes killed Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the al Qaeda leader in Iraq blamed for bombings, beheadings and assassinations, and President George W. Bush said on Thursday that American forces had "delivered justice."
