Sorry for the lack of posting

Sorry for the lack of posts on this blog lately. It has been a couple of challenging weeks. I have to help close family members with medical stuff, plus I have to figure out what to do with my work life since the business has announced it is closing this month (just like many other Michigan businesses).

Anyways, that has put blogging on the lower eschelons of things to do, and I apologize. But, hey, by the end of the month, it looks like I'll have a lot of free time to make up for the current lack of posts.

Welcome to 2 Valuable. My name is Jay, and as you may have guessed by the title, this blog is primarily about and in defense of the 2nd Amendment and the Bill of Rights. I am also a history geek, motorcyclist, writer, and interested in just about everything, so I will comment off-topic a lot.

About Me (Readers Digest Version)

I am a proud alumnus of the University of Michigan, even if it is a cesspool of rotten socialist thinking. It's my alma mater (that means "other mother" in Latin), so don't go makin' fun of Momma... especially if you are from Ohio State.

That reminds me: any favorable comments about Ohio State University or their Buckeye teams left on a post will be printed off on paper, burned, then immediately deleted from the computer system. However, members of the Buckeye Firearms Association (even OSU alumni) get a free pass - you guys do good work for the 2A.

All of my formal education took place in the publik skuul sistim, but in spite of that, I learned how to write and think.

I strongly believe in the self-defense rights re-affirmed by the Founding Fathers' in the 2nd Amendment. The 2nd Amendment doesn't grant us any right - it simply codifies a pre-existing God-given right (as do the other nine amendments in our Bill of Rights).
