The Dick Cheney Story Just Won't Leave Us Alone

Rabbi Daniel Lapin has a great article in the in the WND today.

Iran wants to blow us to smithereens, American soldiers are fighting a deadly enemy in Iraq, and the central bank might raise interest rates – but many journalists consider only one piece of news worth reporting: Vice President Dick Cheney accidentally shot his friend in a hunting accident.Liberals regard people who own firearms and who go hunting as weird. Repeatedly telling the Cheney hunting story proves that Republicans are not fit to govern a civilized country. Liberal news media really believe that reminding Americans that they have a hunter for a vice president will bring a Democratic victory.

I am so sick of the Dick Cheney story... but I enjoyed Rabbi Lapin's article.

I am a proud alumnus of the University of Michigan, even if it is a cesspool of rotten socialist thinking. It's my alma mater (that means "other mother" in Latin), so don't go makin' fun of Momma... especially if you are from Ohio State.

That reminds me: any favorable comments about Ohio State University or their Buckeye teams left on a post will be printed off on paper, burned, then immediately deleted from the computer system. However, members of the Buckeye Firearms Association (even OSU alumni) get a free pass - you guys do good work for the 2A.

All of my formal education took place in the publik skuul sistim, but in spite of that, I learned how to write and think.

I strongly believe in the self-defense rights re-affirmed by the Founding Fathers' in the 2nd Amendment. The 2nd Amendment doesn't grant us any right - it simply codifies a pre-existing God-given right (as do the other nine amendments in our Bill of Rights).
